In the first half of the year, garment enterprises in Pinghu, one of the four pillar industries, suffered a series of labor pains: the overall profit declined or even lost, and more than 100 enterprises went bankrupt.

Yesterday, the latest statistics released by Pinghu Municipal Bureau of statistics showed that from 1 to August, the total profit of Industrial Enterprises above 5 million yuan in garment industry reached 77 million 700 thousand yuan and began to turn losses into profits.

Garment enterprises overall rebound

"This data shows that our garment industry in Pinghu has finally recovered."

Pinghu economic and Trade Bureau responsible person said.

According to introducing, under the influence of factors such as RMB appreciation, raw material price rise, labor cost rising and fund pressure aggravating, thousands of Pinghu garment enterprises are in the "cold winter" beginning this year. Quite a few enterprises are in "zero profit" or even "reverse".

In this situation, some local enterprises are trying to survive by selling factories or machines, and more than 100 garment enterprises are shutting down.

Some clothing business owners told reporters that from the surface, their enterprises in normal production, business volume increased, in fact, profits fell sharply, and some enterprises fell by more than 100%.

Reporters learned from official data that by July this year, the total profit of Industrial Enterprises above 5 million yuan in garment industry was -2274 million yuan, and the number of loss making enterprises reached 122.

Enterprises seek to get out of difficulties

"Facing the difficulties and challenges, Pinghu's clothing enterprises have not complained and waited, but actively seek strategies to overcome their difficulties."

Ji Anli, Secretary General of Pinghu garment industry association, said that many enterprises were saving themselves from various aspects, such as adjusting the market structure, innovating production mode, and fighting for the domestic market.

Pinghu Hua Cheng Mao Lu garment manufacturing Co., Ltd. is a large garment export enterprise with an annual export value of nearly US $60 million. It has established good customer relationship with a Japanese brand, and has developed the market from Japan to Japan, Europe and the United States.

Soft landing of garment industry by service

Reporters learned in the interview that most of Pinghu's "survival crisis" is small clothing enterprises, most of which are attached to large enterprises, rely on large enterprises to sell or survive, or because they are affected by factors such as increased cost of production factors and financing difficulties.

If a lot of enterprises get into trouble at once, it is bound to have an impact on the sustainable development of the whole industry.

The relevant leaders of the Pinghu Municipal Economic and Trade Bureau said that while strengthening macro guidance and enhancing enterprise confidence, they also strengthened their contacts and communication with enterprises so as to better grasp the latest developments of enterprises and timely convey national policies and international market information, so as to provide a more comprehensive information platform for enterprises.
