Four Standards Of Yiwu Line And Belt Industry Passed Expert Review To Promote Enterprise Transformation And Upgrading

On August 9, the reporter learned from the expert review meeting of Yiwu line and belt industry that four standards, including Polyester Filament Ribbon, formulated by relevant ribbon enterprises organized by Yiwu line and belt industry association, passed the expert review. The implementation of these four standards will play a positive role in enhancing the innovation ability of Yiwu's line belt industrial standards and promoting the transformation and upgrading of enterprises.

It is understood that there are 526 cable belt manufacturers in Yiwu's cable belt industry. The city has 25000 sets of various cable belt production equipment, with an annual production capacity of more than 8 billion yuan. Last year, Yiwu was named "China's famous cable belt city" by the China Textile Industry Association.

In order to strengthen the management of ribbon enterprises, improve the quality of ribbon products, provide reliable basis for product inspection, and consolidate the position of Yiwu as a famous ribbon city in China. According to the requirements of implementing the standardization strategy in Yiwu, the Yiwu Tape Industry Association has organized technicians from relevant ribbon enterprises to formulate four standards, namely, Polyester Filament Ribbon, Nylon Filament Ribbon, Cotton Ribbon and Viscose Filament Ribbon, since March this year, It has been supported by relevant departments of Yiwu City, Zhejiang Textile Testing Center, Zhejiang Silk Research Institute and other units.

The person in charge of Yiwu Ribbon Industry Association said that after the four standards formulated by Yiwu Ribbon Industry Association passed the expert review, the Association will organize the technicians of Yiwu Ribbon Enterprises to carry out training, so as to urge Yiwu Ribbon Enterprises to produce according to the standards and promote the sustainable and stable development of Yiwu Ribbon Industry.
