Tonglu'S "Tiger Shoe" Invitational Tournament Expands Its Influence

　　日前，2010浙江省“民间手工艺-虎头鞋”创意设计邀请赛颁奖典礼在桐庐县合村乡举行。由合村乡民间绣花鞋“工艺大师”研发设计的“五子登科”虎头鞋被评为金奖。有关领导还为合村乡“浙江省新农村群众文化业务建设绣花鞋项目实验基地”授牌。

After careful evaluation by the expert group, the "five sons" and "tiger shoes", designed by the research center of embroidery shoes in He village, Tonglu County, has become one of the three gold medals in the province.

"In 2005, it was included in the list of the first batch of intangible cultural heritage in the city. In 2008, it was listed as a financial support project for the cultural and creative industries in Shanghai. In 2009, it participated in the exhibition of folk activities in the Yangtze River Delta."

Last year, the township also set up the "embroidered shoes R & D center", making continuous innovations in production and design. In June 18th this year, the embroidered shoes independently developed by the township will also appear in World Expo, Shanghai.
