According to Reuters, the Commerce Department said Wednesday that the restrictions on 33 Chinese enterprises and institutions listed last month will be formally implemented on Friday. The US Department of Commerce has included relevant Chinese institutions in the economic blacklist, recognizing that these agencies are suspected to be involved in the actions of the government involved in Xinjiang, or are implicated in China's military affairs. The measures to be implemented will restrict the sale of products to American companies, including overseas production involving US technology content. Even if an American company can apply for a special license, it may still be rejected.
