Tongzhou Bay Modern Textile Industrial Park Steadily Promotes 11 Textile Projects To Be Started

The textile industry is a traditional advantageous industry in Nantong. Last year, Tongzhou Bay demonstration zone planned to build a "Modern Textile Industrial Park in Tongzhou Bay demonstration zone", striving to strengthen and supplement the two key links of high-end fabric processing and new fiber materials, promote the improvement of the whole city's modern textile industry chain system, and create an advanced manufacturing base of new textile materials industry in Tongzhou bay with an economic total of more than 100 billion yuan. After more than half a year's efforts, dozens of enterprises have settled down in the textile industrial park, and the infrastructure construction has been steadily promoted.

On the 18th, 11 textile projects in the modern textile industrial park of Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone started, marking the official opening of the park. It is understood that the total planning area of the textile industrial park is 9.3 square kilometers, and the overall positioning is based on the processing of high-end fabrics. At present, the industrial park has settled in various textile enterprises.

The industrial park plans to lay out large-scale long-process enterprises and industrial textile production enterprises with textile products as the terminal products at home and abroad, introduce high-end fabrics and upstream and downstream extension industries, serve the transformation and upgrading of high-end fabric processing technology in Nantong home textile industry, and strive to create a national printing and dyeing industry transformation and upgrading, green ecological sustainable development pilot area.

At present, the roads, pipe networks, industrial water plants, sewage treatment plants, combined heat and power plants and other infrastructure of the modern textile park are in full swing, and are expected to be completed in June next year.
